Anamika Audio Launch – A low key event!

The audio launch for Sekhar Kammula’s up coming movie Anamika took place last night. Being the remake of Bollywood’s super hit fim ‘Kahani’, this audio launch was expected to be a grand event filled with filmstars in order to generate some positive buzz for the film. Surprisingly though, no top celebrities from the film industry attended the event. What was even more surprising was the fact the lead actress of the film, Nayantara, herself was missing at the event. There were rumors that she gave a hard time to the makers over allotment of shooting dates which had led to the delay in the release of the film. Nayantara’s absence at the audio launch leads us to believe the rumors that she has been giving a hard time to the filmmakers over the promotion of the films she herself is a part of.

Speaking about the movie, Kammula said that Anamika is his first short and crisp film. Yandamuri, who worked with Sekhar and tweaked the script to suit Telugu nativity, edited the film and brought it to 2 hours and 5 minutes run time. Sekhar said, all his films has had close to 2 hours 45 minutes run time and he attributes the credit for the editing of Anamika to Yandamuri.
