Day by day top heroine of Tollywood Samanta seemingly is becoming an enigma. One can’t easily understand what’s going on in her mind, what she would say and why she does certain things quite unexpected of her. She skipped ‘Anjaan’ audio launch giving silly reasons and angered Surya’s fans. Tamil thambis didn’t take her explanation and accused that her excuses were like cock and bull stories.
Even before the Tamil thambis could forget her behaviour, once again knowingly or unknowingly she said something which would once again poke Tamil thambis. During the audio launch event of ‘Sikindar’, talking on the outcome of the Telugu version she said, “I don’t know what the outcome of the Tamil version would be but I’m sure of the Telugu version’s success.” Aren’t these lines enough to kindle anger and hate?
Since she is the top heroine in Tollywood, her confidence levels are high after the success of ‘Manam’ and the recent ‘Alludu Seenu’ in Tollywood. But is Surya’s image and popularity any less in Kollywood that she can doubt Tamil version’s success? Anyway, Samanta seems to be placing herself above the hero. But unlike in Tollywood, the hero worship in Kollywood is on peaks. Would the Tamil thambis, especially Surya’s fans forgive her for her latest blabber? Got to wait and see.
