Animal Movie Censor

A few years ago Sandeep Reddy Vanga had spilled the beans about unleashing true violence with his movie Animal, and he wasn’t kidding. The Indian Censor Board slapped it with an “A” rating, and the trailer’s brutality and gore explain why kids should steer clear.

Now, a supposed UK censor certificate is making waves online, exposing why the British Board of Film Classification stamped it with an 18+ rating.

Brace yourself for the shocker: there’s a scene where a blood-soaked murderer lies atop his new bride, hinting at a sinister agenda. Oh, and a guy uses sex as a strategy to manipulate and then humiliate a woman.

But wait, there’s more. The film flaunts nudity – buttocks and breasts on display. Expect a healthy dose of MC/BC abuses and dialogues diving into the realms of sex, porn, and pubic hair.

The BBFC didn’t hold back in their ratings: 5 out of 5 for violence, 3 for threat and horror, 4 for language, 3 for sex, 4 for sexual violence and threat, and 4 for injury details.

The result? An 18+ UK rating and the certificate spill some mild spoilers about the film’s content. Online reactions? One user exclaimed, “Jesus fu*king Christ, not for kids, for sure.” Another chimed in, “Real sexual violence, and people cheering for it? Seriously disturbing.”

Is the certificate legit? No confirmation. If it is, the response to Animal is bound to be too extreme. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Anil Kapoor, Animal hits theaters on December 1.
