In his loud style, he declared that in five years, Telugu people would rule both Hollywood and Bollywood and even Ranbir Kapoor would move to Hyderabad within a year.

Malla Reddy’s enthusiasm for Hyderabad and Telugu cinema clearly went overboard which obviously made some Bollywood fans furious. Such statements only create bad blood between the North and South audience which is definitely not good for any film industry.
Some Bollywood cinephiles are also saying that Ranbir should have taken a stand for Bollywood and should have given Malla Reddy a strong counter.

Yes, the statement might have hurt many but that will not reflect on Animal’s box office performance. If the film turns out to be solid then nothing can stop Animal roaring at the box office. The advance bookings have been phenomenal all over the world.
The national chain of multiplexes (PVR, INOX, Cinepolis) advance booking closed at around 95K on Sunday. Monday’s closing should be around 135K. The bookings for Animal trending better than Tiger3 which was around 123K around the same time.
Animal is all set to collect 45 crores net at the Indian box office and cross Tiger 3’s opening day collections which was released on the big Diwali holiday.
