Actress Anjali, who will be soon seen in Telugu horror-comedy “Geethanjali”, says she’s really looking forward to work in this genre because she hasn’t done films in it and wants to experiment with this genre which has proved to be quite successful in the recent past.
She said this will be her first time with horror genre. Since she has been told that her role will be remembered forever in Telugu for a long time, she thought it would make sense to take up a different role she hasn’t done before. Anjali hopes to put behind her past and find some success with this film because her career has come to a standstill ever since she was caught in a controversy with her step mom.
Kona Venkat has penned the story of the film, and Anjali said that she has full faith in the story and agreed to do the film the minute the story was narrated to her. “Geethanjali”, which is being produced by M.V.V Sathyanarayana, is directed by debutant Sai Kiran.
