Another Rip Off for Mega Hero After ‘Agnyaathavaasi’?

Director Trivikram has defamed himself by totally lifting the story from a French movie for ‘Agnyaathavaasi’. While the heat is still on, here we have another allegation that Sai Dharam Tej‘s next project with director Karunakaran is inspired by a Hollywood movie.

According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, Sai Dharam Tej’s next after VV Vinayak’s movie was inspired by Hollywood movie ‘The Vow’. It’s too early to decide if it is going to be inspired by the Hollywood movie. Earlier, we have seen how our young directors spoke openly on ripping off scenes from Hollywood movies to impress audiences.

Though plagiarism isn’t a big deal here as we have no strict laws against plagiarism, it’s really a big thing for the makers in Hollywood. Any rip off or plagiarism will be treated seriously and if proved, they lose work, forever. A free-make or an inspiration are different facets of plagiarism. ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ is the worst example how our Indian filmmakers take things for granted.
