Anushka to team up with Ajith?

Anushka Shetty, who is currently busy shooting for Telugu period flicks Rudhramadevi and Baahubali, is likely to pair up with Ajith in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s next project. Apparently, Ajith who has not worked with Anushka so far, had expressed interest to work with her. Anushka, however, is yet to confirm the project and she is likely to do it as it’s opposite a star actor.

Ajith, who is enjoying the success of back-to-back hits with Arrambam and Veeram, will start shooting for the film with Gautham from February first week. This project was originally supposed to be done Suriya, who walked out of it in the last minute for unknown reasons. Sources believe that Gautham will be working on the same film, a spy-thriller, with Ajith.

We have to wait and see if Ajith-Anushka combo will be accepted by the audience.
