Hanuman Movie Release Date Controversy

Director Prasanth Varma showed great promise with his debut film ‘Awe,’ followed by a flop and a film that received average critical reception. Now, his film ‘Hanuman’ has caught everyone’s attention.

The Sankranthi period is crowded, with five films set to release, and there is pressure on ‘Hanuman’ to step out of the festival race, which currently seems unfair.

The producer of ‘Hanuman,’ Niranjan Reddy (Primeshow Entertainment), director Prasanth Varma, and lead actor Teja Sajja are firm about sticking to the announced January 12th release date, and no one can find fault with their decision.

However, for Sankranthi, ‘Hanuman’ needs to replicate the performance of Nikhil’s ‘Karthikeya 2’ both critically and commercially. ‘Karthikeya 2’ faced similar release date challenges but delivered remarkably well, leaving no room for complaints and proved everyone wrong.

Prasanth Varma needs to deliver big, as anything less than exceptional might be perceived as overconfidence and a misjudgment of their content. Apart from his debut film, his subsequent work hasn’t garnered much attention.

After fighting so much for the release date, if he delivers an average film or less, he will lose ground to even ask for a minimum number of theaters in the heavily crowded clash.
