Arjun Suravaram Throws Surprise With Bountiful Weekend

The Nikhil starrer Arjun Suravaram has thrown a pleasant surprise at the box office. The collections remained steady in its opening weekend, with Sunday turning out to be the best day.

After a decent opening, Arjun Suravaram sustained well on the second day. The drop was lesser than what many had imagined. It raised hopes on the crucial Sunday. The distributors too sensing the trend increased the theatres, resulting in Sunday coming out as the best.

The overall three days collections of Arjun Suravaram for three days is a little above 3 Cr. It is a superb start considering the delays and lack of buzz before release. The real test would come in the weekdays. If it can sustain in the coming days, there is a chance for it to emerge as a break-even venture.

There will be multiple releases in the coming week, and ahead, so, a chance of a long run isn’t a possibility. But, if Arjun Suravaram manages to sustain in the weekdays, the second weekend could show little growth and help its box office status.

Arjun Suravaram stars Nikhil Siddharth and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles. T Santhosh directed the movie, which was a remake of his original from Tamil. Rajkumar Akella is the producer.
