Speaking about RGV’s ‘Shiva’, Tammareddy doesn’t consider it as a classic at all. He opines that it is a film which changed the face of Telugu cinema technologically but not a classic. It is copied from his movie ‘Alajadi’ which went on to floors prior to ‘Shiva’ but the release was delayed due to financial issues.

Even Mahesh’s ‘Athadu’ is a copy of ‘Roudy Annayya’ and Shekhar Kammula’s ‘Happy Days’ has copied college scenes from his ‘Alajadi’ movie. Mahesh’s ‘Arjun’ also has copied Keerthi Reddy’s character and scenes from his film ‘Atha Nii Koduku Jagratha’. He thinks he is a bit forward and hence his movies are copied even after 30 years.
