Atlee and Allu Arjun are teaming up for a highly awaited project, currently known by its working title AA22xA6. The film is in the preparation stage, and a major casting update has caught attention.
As per a tweet by Rahul Raut, popular actor Yogi Babu has officially joined the film. He is currently shooting key scenes alongside Mrunal Thakur and Allu Arjun. However, it was also confirmed that Vijay Sethupathi will not be a part of the cast.
Reportedly, AA22xA6 will be a sci-fi film infused with commercial elements. While there is speculation around the film’s budget, Atlee has not revealed any details yet, even in his past interviews.
Backed by Sun Pictures, the film is expected to use controlled sets and later integrate high-quality graphics and VFX. The aim is to offer a unique theatrical experience, unlike regular mass entertainers.
With Yogi Babu on board, comedy is likely to have an important role in the story. However, with Allu Arjun as the central character, it remains to be seen how much screen time the comedian will receive.
