Fresh off the pan-India sensation created by Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is now gearing up for his next big film. This time, he’s teaming up with Tamil blockbuster director Atlee.
The film is being made on a massive scale by Sun Pictures. It is aiming for a grand theatrical release in 2026.
After delivering a hit with Jawan, Atlee is now crafting another pan-India spectacle. This one mixes science fiction with high-octane action.
The movie promises international-level visuals but stays rooted in Indian storytelling. Pre-production is almost done, and shooting will begin soon.
Allu Arjun is undergoing a major physical transformation for this role. He’s training under celebrity fitness coach Lloyd Stevens. His look is said to be unlike anything he’s done before. There’s also talk that he might play a double role.
Top global technicians are being brought in to raise the visual standard. The aim is a world-class experience on screen.
To increase the film’s appeal in Hindi markets, a major Bollywood actor is being roped in. The name is still under wraps. But many Allu Arjun fans feel this isn’t needed. After Pushpa 2, they believe his name alone is enough to draw Hindi audiences.
Still, some say Atlee may be cautious. He might feel Allu Arjun, outside the Pushpa universe, may not attract mass numbers in Hindi. So, bringing in a Bollywood face could be his way of playing it safe. However, nothing is confirmed though.
Mrunal Thakur is reportedly locked as the female lead. Talks are also on with Janhvi Kapoor for the second heroine role.
Expectations are sky-high. With Atlee’s track record and Allu Arjun’s momentum, fans are eager to see how big this film gets.
