The talks about Salman Khan and Atlee’s collaboration don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.
With talks about the production house not being interested in casting Salman due to his declining stardom gaining more popularity by the minute, several articles have suddenly popped up defending the Bollywood star while putting the blame on Rajinikanth.
In a newly released article, it has been said that Atlee and Salman had a private meetup, where the director apologized for not being able to get Rajinikanth on board until 2026.
Atlee reportedly also made a promise to reach out to Salman in 2026 when the parallel lead became available.
The source in the article sang praises for the non-theatrical deal of the film, saying it could easily surpass the 200-cr mark by casting Salman alone.
Painting Salman as a calm and big-brotherly figure, the intention to shift the blame away from him seemed pretty clear.
It seems that Salman’s PR is trying its best to maintain the bubble of relevancy around the actor, although the Box office flops paint a completely different picture — one of a stardom gone by.
