Secret Wars Rumors: Biggest Star Cast in MCU?

Speculation surrounding Avengers: Secret Wars continues to grow, with the film expected to become one of the largest ensemble projects in Marvel Studios history. Positioned as the conclusion to the multiverse saga, the movie could bring together characters from multiple Marvel eras.

Several core Avengers are expected to play central roles in the story. Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Anthony Mackie’s Captain America are widely seen as key figures, along with Paul Rudd’s Ant Man and Letitia Wright’s Shuri.

Paul Bettany’s Vision is also rumoured to return in an important role. His appearance could continue unresolved storylines from WandaVision while connecting to the larger multiverse narrative.

The Thunderbolts team is also expected to appear together in the film. This reportedly includes Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, David Harbour’s Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent, Hannah John Kamen’s Ghost, Olga Kurylenko’s Taskmaster, and Julia Louis Dreyfus as Valentina.

Another major point of interest is Lewis Pullman’s Sentry. The character’s immense power could play a crucial role in shaping the conflict across multiple realities.

Marvel is also expected to lean into nostalgia through the return of X Men characters. Halle Berry is rumoured to reprise Storm, while Professor X, Magneto, Cyclops, Mystique, and Beast may appear through multiverse timelines.

Deadpool and Wolverine, played by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, are also strongly rumoured to be part of the film. Their involvement would further expand the crossover scale of the story.

There is also speculation about Damson Idris appearing as a variant of T’Challa. This could allow Marvel to honour the Black Panther legacy while exploring alternate realities within the multiverse.

With Avengers, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four members, mutants, and multiverse characters potentially appearing together, Avengers: Secret Wars is shaping up to be a major crossover event. The film could redefine the scale of storytelling in the MCU.
