Baahubali sets rare record leaving Shankar’s I far

By now every movie buff started believing that Baahubali is destined to break and make new records. Hence this one wouldn’t come as a shock but seems very obvious. Releasing in 2000 screens across South India is in itself humongous. But the latest update available says, Baahubali’s release in Hindi would be in par with any straight Bollywood movie.

Hindi dubbing version of the magnum opus is going to get over 1500 theatres and when it comes to total count across the world aka Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and others, Baahubali’s opening theatres count would be over 4,000. Wow! This would leave movie buffs wondering how Shankar’s ‘I’ is left far behind which didn’t cross even 2,000 theatres across the world.

The kind of buzz, Rajamouli’s movie has been creating was never heard of before for any movie. Even a big Bollywood movie which gets huge buzz in North India, sometimes doesn’t even get minimum buzz in South. In case of ‘Baahubali’, the number of theatres shows how it has a pan-Indian appeal like never before.
