Balayya Knocked the Actress’ Juhu Flat for ‘Yes’

Balakrishna has finally got the nod from Bollywood star actress Vidya Balan to play the role of his mother, Basavatarakam in the legendary NTR’s biopic. She was taking a lot of time to decide whether to play the role or not and before she gave an answer, Balakrishna paid a personal visit to her.

Balakrishna wanted a positive response from her and hence, he flew to Mumbai and went to her flat located in Juhu area. It’s learnt that the actress was pleasantly surprised to see Balakrishna pay a personal visit to her and their meeting continued for a couple of hours. Finally, it’s confirmed that Vidya Balan will be making her Tollywood debut.

This meeting happened a few days ago and today is the official launch of the movie which will be helmed by director Krish. Well, Balayya wanted only Vidya Balan to play the role of his mother. We know Balayya, don’t we? Whenever he mentally fixes an artist to play a role, he strives it hard to get the artist and if not dumps the film, altogether like he did in the case of ‘Raithu’ when Amitabh Bachchan didn’t accept the role offered by Balayya.

In the past, Balakrishna dumped ‘Draupadi’ after the demise of Soundarya who was roped in to play the title role. The Nandamuri hero didn’t want anyone else to play Draupadi’s character and therefore, stalled the movie. This time, he was successful in getting Vidya Balan on board.
