Bandla Ganesh pocketed huge sum for dubbing rights

Producer Bandla Ganesh has always done film only with big stars. He once revealed the trade secret behind choosing to make films with only big names for the sake of making finances come easily in the star’s name. Here is one more secret out about choosing to do stars’ films.

Bandla Ganesh has pocketed huge amounts for the Hindi dubbing rights of his films starring only big heroes. These days, television channels are buying the rights of a film for huge amounts when it is still in the making stage. Coming to our Telugu movies, the regional channels buying the television rights is no big thing but National Hindi channels are competing to buy the Hindi dubbing rights for television telecast.

The reason behind this rush to buy the Hindi version rights of top heroes’ movies is the popularity of Telugu star studded movies in various Hindi popular channels. It is learnt that big Telugu heroes like Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, NTR, Allu Arjun and Pawan Kalyan’s popularity among the Hindi television viewers is only next to big Bollywood heroes like Khans and Hrithik Roshan.

Hence the Hindi channels are investing huge money to buy the rights for television telecast of big stars. Here only stars’ movies are accepted and hence the market is as high as several crores are being doled out for dubbing rights. Mahesh Babu with his pan-Indian following owing to his national image via brand endorsements and good looks, is reigning the Hindi dubbing market and other big heroes are closely following him in popularity.
