The two movies are Bhaagamathie and Padmaavat. The former is a Telugu, and Tamil language bilingual starring Anushka in the title role. The thriller is getting the widest release ever for a solo Anushka starrer. Padmaavat stars Deepika Padukone in the title role and although, it has two other stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, it is Deepika who is hogging all the limelight before release.
The box office has been dull in Telugu film industry post-Sankranthi holidays. Bhaagamathie is expected to revive the fortunes. Padmaavat, on the other hand, is off to solid advance and is all set for a massive opening on January 25.
