Tollywood badly needs a couple of new heroines who can match the stardom and aura of Tier 1 and Tier 2 star heroes on-screen.
Sreelela, who rose to fame overnight, seems to have faded after her first film opposite big star Mahesh Babu in Guntur Kaaram, which bombed.
Then there’s Mrunal, who fits into certain roles, but her age may be an issue. Rashmika has been around for a while, but her fame skyrocketed after Animal, and she has Pushpa 2 coming up. However, she isn’t a fresh prospect who can bring a new sense of excitement.
Now, Bhagyashri Borse has been signed for multiple projects: MR Bachan with Raviteja and Harish Shankar, a project with Vijay Devarakonda and Goutham Thinnanuri, and a film with Nani directed by Sujeeth. All three projects look promising for a new entrant, except for senior star Ravi Teja’s.
We need to wait and see how she will be received, but judging by the projects she has signed, it seems like she might be a replacement for Sreelela for now.
