Big Boost For U.S. Film Distributors And Exhibitors

U.S. market is crucial for Telugu Cinema industry. For big films, it is almost a big area like Nizam and Ceeded. The industry is waiting for the market to stabilize after the pandemic. Many believe that it is just one good and big film away from becoming normal.

While the wait continues for that one big and good film, here is a good news for the US film trade. As a stimulus to the films, many big theater theater chains like Cinemark, Regal, and AMC are offering $0 Virtual Print Fee (VPF) costs from October first week. Other smaller chains are offering 50% less in VPF costs.

VPF costs is a significant expense for any big film and this rebate will give an additional breathing space for the film. We are going to see some huge releases for many of the upcoming biggies in USA. As per the line up of the big films right now, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa will be the first Telugu beneficiary releasing on December 17th.

On the other side, Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe U.S bookings are already open and QUBE is delivering the content which is having a massive release across U.S.

It will be helpful for all the films but it will be significant for the biggies. Let see how far this new rebate will help the market in the coming days.
