Big film director condemns 3D reports

The next biggie in Tamil film industry after the recently released Yennai Arindhaal is nothing but the Suriya starrer Masss. It is directed by Venkat Prabhu of Mankatha and Biriyani fame.

Today the makers of the film inked a deal with Eros for the distribution rights of the film. Along with it came the news that the release of the film has been delayed slightly as the makers are looking to release the film in 3D as well. However the director who is extremely active on social networking sites immediately clarified the issue and said that the subject itself is new and they need not try out new technology for it.

Ever since the film was announced the 3D aspect of the film gained lots of coverage. With the director refuting it wonder what the fans who had set expectations based on 3D aspect think of the film now.
