After many years, Nayanthara was seen promoting her film on the ground level. She took part actively in the promotion of her latest film, Connect.
But a section of the media isn’t happy for her being partial when it comes to promotions. Connect is produced by her husband Vignesh Sivan and many are saying that that’s the main reason for her attending so many promotional events and interviews.
Many in the industry are saying that she ONLY promotes films that she or her partner produces. For other films, she doesn’t even care to give one interview.
Even for Sye Raa, there were speculations that the makers requested her many times to at least attend the pre-release event, but she didn’t oblige.
Nayanthara is one of the few female stars who can attract an audience to the theaters with her presence. She must realize that her participation in promotional events will improve the film’s prospects in a big way. Irrespective of who is producing the film, she should actively involve in film promotions.
