Anushka Shetty is all set to star in Krish Jagarlamudi’s upcoming film Ghaati, where she will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. The movie is scheduled for a grand release on April 18, 2025, in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The makers revealed the release date on Sunday with an intense poster, highlighting Anushka’s fierce look.
This means Anushka is going for an almost direct clash with Prabhas at the box office. Prabhas’ much-anticipated The Raja Saab is releasing on April 10, 2025, one week before Anushka’s Ghaati.
Ghaati is produced by UV Creations, a banner that is very close to Prabhas and is almost like a home banner to him. So, it is interesting that such a banner has decided to go up against Prabhas in a clash.
Ghaati will see Anushka in a raw and intense role, showcasing her transformation from a victim to a criminal mastermind.
The film’s first teaser, released on Anushka’s 43rd birthday, presents her in a tribal look, dressed in a sari and wielding a sickle.
