Brahmanandam’s Brother Breaks Down: Why Ignore Me?

Brahmanandam and Sri Vadan

Comedy legend Brahmanandam’s elder brother, Sri Vadan, has made an emotional appeal about his relationship with his younger brother. His comments are now drawing attention on social media.

According to a viral video being circulated, Vadan said that their family originally had six children, but four of them have passed away. He said that only he and Brahmanandam remain, and that he is now living alone.

He reportedly said that Brahmanandam recently visited their native place but left without even speaking to him. Vadan added that he continues to hope that his younger brother will call him one day and simply ask, “Anna, how are you?”

He also spoke about how much even a small gesture from a successful and respected person can mean to someone close to them. “When great people speak to the younger ones, it makes them happy,” he was quoted as saying.

The comments have struck an emotional chord with many people. Brahmanandam is one of the most celebrated comedians in Indian cinema, while his brother’s words reveal a deeply personal side of their family relationship.

However, the viral video does not explain what happened between the brothers or why Brahmanandam appears to have distanced himself from Vadan. There could be a long history behind their strained relationship that the public knows nothing about.

Whatever the reason, many fans feel that the brothers should consider resolving their differences, especially at this stage of their lives. Sometimes, letting go of old bitterness can matter more than proving who was right or wrong. After all, forgiveness can be a sign of strength, regardless of age or status.
