When the word spread around that Atlee and Allu Arjun would be teaming up for a mega project, expectations blew off the roof.
The renowned filmmaker is known for his larger-than-life portrayal of the main lead and over-the-edge screenplay making him one of the best directors.
On the other hand, energy powerhouse Allu Arjun has a strong fanbase all over the country making him one of the most influential superstars in the film industry.
As these two are ready for a larger-than-life project, it is interesting to note that Atlee will feature the renowned South Indian star in dual roles.
He has done the same in his previous projects including Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil, where he played three characters simultaneously.
Mersal saw the actor playing two roles and even in Theri, Vijay showcased dual shades of his character.
In his recent directorial Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan played a dual role further elevating the overall persona of the film.
According to several sources, the same pattern might be followed in his upcoming film with Allu Arjun.
If the plot and story fit once again, the film might be another blockbuster in the cards for Atlee. However, it might turn out predictable and repetitive as fans have already witnessed Atlee showcasing several dual-role films.
All in all, it would be a spectacle to witness the Atlee and Allu Arjun collaboration on the big screen and only time will tell how the magnum opus turns out to be.
