Can Prabhas Remove ‘Outsider’ Tag?

Prabhas needs to get back to form as his last film, Radhe Shyam has been big dud at the box office. So, he has pinned all hopes on crazy director Prashanth Neel for the film Salaar.

Prashanth Neel is a Kannada director and has put Kannada cinema on the Indian map. Ever since this has happened, Kannada fans have become one group who are hating films that are dubbed and not shot in their language.

Now that Neel is directing Salaar from their home turf, they want Salaar to be a bilingual not a dubbed Kannada film for them. Unless the film is shot in Kannada, the fans will give Prabhas that outsider tag and wait for the opportunity to troll him.

Also, Prabhas’s other film, Adipurush is also directed by a Hindi director. Until now, Prabhas has only worked with Telugu directors and for the first time, he has collaborated with outsiders. So, will Neel and Om Raut clear the outsider tag for Prabhas?
