Can Puri Overcome The Hidden Challenge?

Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda have teamed up for the biggest film of their career, Liger. The film is being released as a pan-India project, and the buzz around the film is encouraging.

The film tells the story of a Chaiwala becoming an International MMA champion with the inspiration of Mike Tyson.

There is a talk on social media that there have been umpteen films in Bollywood with the same subject of a street fighter from Dharavi slums becoming a boxing champion. Baaghi series, Brothers, and Do Lafzon Ki Kahani are some of the recent examples. There is not much novelty for the Hindi audience in the story of Liger.

But that’s where Puri’s talent comes in. Some are also saying that if Puri Jagannadh can come up with the right mix of action, emotion, romance, style, and swag, then Liger will hit the bull’s eye.

Deverakonda fans are saying that Puri has turned many films with routine stories into blockbusters with his engaging screenplay and hard-hitting narration. Pokiri, Businessman, and Temper are some of the examples, and Liger will be no different.
