However, now Prasad is once again making headlines by making Bro with none other than Pawan Kalyan. A remake of a Tamil film, Prasad feels it’s important to focus on content rather than on whether a film is a remake or a straight project, and adds that having Pawan Kalyan in the project is a big deal in itself.
While he does not brush aside the fact that his association with Prabhas and Pawan Kalyan is an attempt at making inroads into the complex world of TFI, Viswa Prasad is of the opinion that his strategy and his belief in data, analytics, and consideration of variables help him take risks that are likely to pay off in the long run. He also confesses to the fact that he has been supporting Jana Sena since 2018 and says he could gain proximity with Pawan Kalyan owing to Nadella Manohar.
Answering a widely circulated question, Prasad says that having Trivikram is an added bonus, though it is his passion for films that pushes him to plan for films even though his core business happens to be tech solutions.
He also has a film with Prabhas in the pipeline being directed by Maruthi, but he promises he will promote the film only when the time is appropriate.
Based in the US, Prasad has also been in the news for planning to put up a statue of NTR in Edison, NY. However, he says two communities were against it, one from Telugu states and one from another state. He also adds that the caste feelings have aggravated in the past 3–4 years, though he shares that it is cyclical and has more to do with human nature.
Meanwhile, he is in the process of pushing forward about 25 films in various stages of business and insists his production house will make 100 films by mid 2026.
