Casting Calls Trapping Girls for Deverakonda & Director

Fake casting calls in the name of celebrity heroes and directors have been in the industry since long and sometimes, these fake calls end up with innocent girls falling prey to these traps. One such fake casting call was exposed by director Ajay Bhupathi of ‘Rx 100’ fame.

The fake casting call came into light when a series of enquiries and complaints came from a few girls asking if the casting calls they have got in the name of Ajay Bhupathi’s team for his next picture with Vijay Deverakonda were true.

After clarifying to them that those were fake calls, the director immediately filed a complaint with the Cybercrime cell of Hyderabad police who are investigating the matter based on the phone calls made.

It’s learnt that all the calls came from one mobile number and very soon the cyber culprit will be in the custody. But, it’s necessary that the individuals who want to be actors must be careful about these fake casting calls and protect themselves from falling prey.
