Cherry’s heroine turns producer

Fade out heroine’s turning to production is not a new phenomenon but heroine’s who up until recently were at their peak turning producer is surely an interesting development.

The heroine who has turned producer is Amala Paul and she was last seen romancing Charan in Naayak and Allu Arjun in Iddarammayilatho. She was still getting good offers but once her marriage took place with director Vijay, she took a little backseat. At that stage her career was going through the upward surge as she had also starred opposite Tamil star Vijay during the same period.

Interestingly it’s courtesy of her director husband Vijay that she is turning producer. On her banner Think Big Studios, the actress is going to produce the comeback venture of director Priyadarshan. Remember the film that was recently announced which brings together the National Award winning team? That is the film Amala Paul would be producing.
