Chiranjeevi Insisting us Go Depth on Social Issue

Chiranjeevi’s 150th film ‘Kathilantodu’ basically deals with farmers’ suicide issue. Writer Paruchuri Venkateshwar Rao says that Chiranjeevi insisted the writers to go depth on the social issues concerning farmers in the Telugu States. The writers are making a few changes for Telugu audiences.

Chiranjeevi is playing dual roles and one of the character fights for farmers in the movie. It’s on Chiru’s insistence that the writers are making the changes. The megastar agreed to play dual roles because, one character would be liked by the audiences and the character fighting for farmers is the one megastar liked. Paruchuri brother says they are still working on climax as they couldn’t fully convince Chiru.

So, there might be a political angle too like in the original movie starring Tamil mass hero Vijay. Paruchuri brothers had been writing the script since six months and now it has gone on to the floors. They couldn’t please Chiranjeevi with a new story. They were afraid as it is his comeback movie.
