With Acharya, megastar Chiranjeevi has delivered one of his biggest flops in his career and has left the distributors reeling with losses. This failure has put his new film ‘Godfather’ under huge pressure.

Godfather, the Telugu remake of Lucifer is being directed by Mohan Raja and also has Salman Khan in a cameo. Because of this, Chiranjeevi is making big release plans as per the news.

There was news that the film will be out in August but the film is yet to be completed and also the date is not yet locked. These days, when the competition is so tough, the release timing and dates matter a lot. The promotions need time and if the release formalities are planned properly, the film can get good benefits.

But Chiru and his team have taken a backseat and have gone underground ever since Acharya has flopped. Chiru is in abroad for a holiday and only when he comes back, the release date will be fixed but this delay has surely put pressure on the film.
