Chiru’s Lingam Mamayya playing Modi

In Bollywood, experimenting on biopics has been like a continuous trend in midst of potboilers, action comedies, romantic comedies and adult comedies. From real time achievers to popular politicians, B’Town has been bringing us the celluloid version of famous personalities. The latest biopic to be made would be on the life our PM, Narender Modi.

Can you guess who is going to play the PM in the biopic? It’s going to be the very popular megastar Chiru’s Lingam Mamayya, Paresh Rawal of ‘Shankar Dada MBBS’ fame. Besides being one of the terrific performers of Bollywood, currently he is a BJP MP. So he has more access to the details on the PM’s style of working and proceedings of the people’s house.

Though the project is going to commence shooting after next couple of months, Paresh Rawal reveals that he got the nod from the PM some years ago, when he had been the Chief Minister of Gujarat. A lot of research has gone into the project as the actor and makers have to capture the right attitude and portrayal of a spirited personality like Modi on screen.
