Recently, speaking at an event, he alleged that Tollywood is being run by few actors. He made such controversial comments, based on the current situation in the industry. Furthermore he said that the industry has a lot of problems. Some of the big producers are creating hindrances to low budget films, by engaging with theaters directly. Dasari also said that the small filmmakers have formed a union and expressed their distress in this regard.
