Superstar used up furlough, now for parole

Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt who was convicted in Illegal possession of arms case is undergoing imprisonment of remaining 42-months in Erawada Jail. He already used up his 14-day furlough period which is a prisoner’s right, early this year.

Now the actor has once again applied for a parole for 30 days of leave, which isn’t a prisoner’s right but a legal sanction by the authorities taking into consideration particular situations. The reason Sanjay mentioned in his application isn’t unknown but it is under process.

His jail sentence is supposed to come to an end by Christmas this year. But if he is granted parole would he be coming out in 2015 or would his jail sentence be extended into 2016?
