Crime Zone: Kona Venkat robbed at knife point

Star writer Kona venkat and producer Danayya were robbed at knife point yesterday night, 26th March while both of them were returning from Prakash Raj’s birthday bash. Kona Venkat tweeted on the crime that was forced on him on some highway at Shadnagar.

According to Kona, the robbers blocked the road laying down a cut tree, broke the driver’s window and opened the door of their car. At knife point, they robbed everything from them and fled from the spot. Police are investigating the case and they say that such incidents have become common in the area and the police couldn’t catch the criminals.

The star writer expressed concern on the growing crime and questioned if the new state is turning into a crime zone.
