Deepika Padukone who is going through a glorious phase career wise was almost set to face a big embarrassment in Ahmadabad where reportedly a mob of protestors came with eggs and tomatoes to throw at her. The mob apparently were miffed with some of the content that was presented in the upcoming film of the actress Ram Leela. It hurt their sentiments and hence such an angry reaction, they said.
However the protestors were calmed down by the unit in time to stop creating a ugly mess. They were informed by the crew that any scenes that offend them or their community would be removed from the film and there would be nothing to get offended about. Ram Leela directed by Sanjal Leela Bhansali seems to have hurt the sentiments of a particular community in Gujarat where the film is set.
Starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead roles, Ram Leela is one of the highly anticipated films in the coming days. It brings back Sanjay Leela Bhansali in full on commercial set up after a long time which is making the trade wait in great anticipation.
