Delay in release date for ‘Zanjeer’!

There has been a lot rumors going wild regarding the release date of Priyanka and Ram Charan starrer ‘Zanjeer’. Even though the filmmakers have been falsifying these rumors in the past, a source stated recently that the release has been indeed postponed. It was set to hit the screens on September 6th however owing to delay in release of Ram Charan‘s Telugu movie ‘Yevadu’, ‘Zanjeer’ will also have a delayed release. The new release date of ‘Yevadu’, August 21, was very close to the original release date of ‘Zanjeer’ hence the rescheduling of the release date.

It was also heard that Priyanka Chopra, the lead actress in the movie, will be absent from the promotional events of this remake of the 1970s Amitabh Bachchan starrer film of the same name. Apparently the reason is her extremely busy schedule and lots of movies in hand. The film has been having a lot of troubles from the very beginning and the absence of PC has got the producers worried.
