Dhoni gets a ‘Thank You’ cheque for losing!

Cricket is like National Craze in India. While majority of Indians are die-hard fans of the game, there are some people in the country who opine the game is making people lethargic and the Nation is losing a lot because of non-production during the match days. Here is one such person who has a different opinion on the game unlike the majority.

Uttar Pradesh IG, Amitabh Thakur is one officer who was worried about government employees taking leave on match days, leaving official work for watching cricket. But after the semi’s defeat, India came back to India, and Indian fans wouldn’t be much interested in the final like they would if India was there in the finals.

Hence he sent a ‘Thank you’ cheque for Dhoni worth thousand rupees for losing the semifinals. He also wrote a letter to Dhoni to advice governement and private employees not to skip work for watching match as this shows on development of a country. He reminds Dhoni his social responsibility. What an idea Sir Ji!
