From Tollywood to Bollywood, Dil Raju is planning films with big stars, but trade circles are now actively discussing the risks hidden within these combinations. Even though these projects feature popular actors, the current box office trend suggests that each of them is a high stakes gamble.
One of the projects that everyone is keenly observing is Rowdy Janardhan, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Ravi Kiran Kola. The makers have already released a glimpse, and the film promises raw, violent, mass action. This movie is extremely important for Vijay Deverakonda, as his attempts to establish a strong mass image have only backfired so far. Whether intense action and bloodshed will work in his favor remains uncertain. This time, his rowdy image must translate into box office numbers.
Another interesting but risky project is Yellamma, with music director Devi Sri Prasad making his debut as a hero under the direction of Venu Yeldandi, who proved his talent with Balagam.
