From Sankranthi, director Kalyan Krishna’s status in Telugu Film Industry has certainly changed from an aspiring debutante to a successful film maker. His ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ is the clear winner in the Sankranthi race. Obviously the film will be a talking point in other film industries as well.

The director says that there are efforts going on to convince none other than superstar Rajnikanth for the remake version of SCN. And since Rajni-Ramya are hit combination, he thinks such subject would work wonders with the combination. True indeed! However we can’t expect Rajini to agree for this remake as he has to target Telugu and Tamil markets.
Kalyan is also thinking that he can make a sequel for SCN as the ending of the film has a lot of scope to extend into another story.
