Director didn't allow Ram to get clothes from abroad!

The most challenging task an actor has to accomplish to look fit and healthy is to loose extra flab and follow strict gym regime. But not always. Young hero Ram feels that gaining weight was more challenging than losing weight. For ‘Nenu Shailaja’ the actor had to put on 10 kg weight to look the common guy next door.

It’s not only about weight, the entire locations in the film are shot in our country and even Ram’s costumes are chosen from regular stores here in India. Director Kishore Tirumala wanted to have the local feel and natural look for his film. Hence Ram had tough time not to overact or to go overboard like in a regular mass entertainer.

For Telugu audiences who are hit by routine masala entertainers, a movie which boasts of being natural and commonplace is definitely a breather. A couple of hours to know whether the movie lives upto the promise Ram has been advocating.
