This light man is alleging that he contracted a blood-related infection when he was working for ‘Guru’. So, he wants his producers to pay him compensation for his medical expenses. Failing to get any response from the Lightmen Association and Mani Ratnam, this technician has taken up to hunger strike and threatens to commit suicide.

Responding on this issue, Mani Ratnam’s team is asking how a production house is responsible for the health condition of hundreds of workers and how can Mani Ratnam know the health condition of all those who work with him. They see it as someone’s ploy to spoil the director’s name.
