While his ‘Pasanga’ which was released in December 2015, Suriya starrer is coming as ‘Memu’ in Telugu, his another film ‘Kathakali’ starring Vishal in the lead, which hit theatres in January 2016 is coming with the same title this Friday in Telugu.

Tamil versions of the movie didn’t clash at the box-office though. The clash of the Telugu dubbing versions of his two films is a mere coincidence. But it also is a record of sorts because, it’s very rare that two films of a director get the same release date.
