Shankar not learning from Gunasekhar's experience!

As the film is briskly rushing towards going on to sets, more and more updates on Shankar’s ‘Robo 2’ are coming out regularly. It is going to be shot in 3-D format using two different cameras at a time. However, from the bitter experience of Gunasekhar, one can easily understand that it is a big risk.

Guna shot his movie in 3-D format and only after he shot almost half of the movie, he understood that it is time consuming. Once he reaĺised that, he couldn’t go back as half of the movie was already shot in 3-D format. Most importantly, the theatres in our country aren’t equipped for the 3-D format. All the effort will have to go waste.

Guna was vocal on the time consuming challenge, changing the lens between regular and 3-D format. In spite of this bitter and big experience, Shankar is going ahead to shoot his film in 3-D format. These technically advanced formats proved failure even in the case of Rajni’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’.

3-D format wasn’t successful in any of the languages so far in India. Isn’t Shankar taking a big risk trying a failed format to shoot the most awaited sequel starring superstar Rajnikanth?
