Director Srinu Vaitla, who has been constantly delivering hit films is still under the pressure to deliver not just successful movies but also change his image with up-coming movie ‘Aagadu’. Tollywood circles say that the movie ‘Aagadu’ is critical for Vaitla. Few reasons that strengthen this talk, though, include the fact that Vaitla, regardless of his guaranteed success lately, is known for his routine formula style taking which has become his biggest setback.
After parting ways with talented writer duo Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan, Vaitla has started working with some young talents for Mahesh’s ‘Aagadu’. Though entertainment is guaranteed, with the help of the new writers roped in to the script, one expects have some freshness in the film as well. We will have to see if ‘Aagadu’ too will join the club of routine Vaitla films or will he deliver anything fresh and different this time.
