Director Becomes a Potential Risk to Mr. Majnu?

Debut directors have made wonders with their first films in Telugu lately, like Venky Atluri with his Tholi Prema, but most of them like Tharun Bhascker failed to deliver a success with their second film.

On a wider perspective, except very few directors like Rajamouli and Koratala Siva, other debut directors couldn’t make their second attempt a memorable one.

Well, the fear of traditionally failing in the second attempt is there for Venky Atluri, thereby for Akhil’s Mr. Majnu too.

Akhil’s failure history is already there. He is now just any other hero who is struggling for success, hence the risk is more. Well, lets put the sentiments aside and see if Venky breaks the tradition and gives a consecutive hit. Mr. Majnu teaser has got a positive response that’s a good sign. Let’s see. The movie will hit screens on 25th January.
