Diwali Hungama in OTT Platforms This year

Diwali is one of the biggest seasons of film releases every year. Theaters this year are going to sport a deserted look for the festival this time due to the Pandemic and the Lockdown. Now, the Diwali Hungama has shifted to OTTs this year.

Telugu film industry will see four new releases including dubbing movies – Middle-Class Melodies (13th Nov), Ammoru Thalli (14th Nov), Aakasam Nee Haddura (12th Nov), and Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma (13th Nov).

In Tamil, Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru (12th Nov), RJ Balaji-Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman (14th Nov), and Sundar C’s multi-starrer production venture Naanga Romba Busy, the Tamil remake of Kannada film Mayabazar will also release for the festive season. Naanga Romba Busy is also having a direct TV release on the same day, sources say.

Coming to Bollywood, Rajkummar Rao’s Chhalaang and Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkumar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapur’s Ludo are releasing. Both of them are releasing on the same day – 13th Nov. It has to be seen how many of these films will be actually successful.
