Drushyam 2 makers left fans disgruntled by failing to live up to their promise. On Saturday, they announced that Drushyam 2 first look will be unveiled at 10 am. But it got postponed due to some ‘unforeseen circumstances’.
In this regard, the production house issued an apology. But to compensate the disgruntled fans, the makers had an alternate plan. The film issued an update about clearing the censor formalities of getting a U certificate. However, this has only ended up as a double disappointment for fans.

Firstly, no first look release. Secondly, for a long time, there was a buzz that Drushyam 2 may head for a direct-to-OTT release. However, the makers haven’t issued any clarity on it till now. And now only with the censor formality update and not giving any confirmation about theatrical release has ended as a double disappointment for the fans.
Drushyam 2 went on floors in February and completed shoot by April. Starring Venkatesh Daggubati and the original cast except for few additions, the sequel carries good buzz. The sequel is directed by Jeethu Joseph, the man who had directed the original – Drishyam 2.
