Even with an average talk Ram Charan starrer Govindudu Andari Vadele has done fabulous business at the box office in its opening week. The trade attributes this grand opening equally between Ram Charan and the holiday season. The film opened slowly on day 1 but with holidays following it the collections remained rock solid.
At the end of the first week, GAV is estimated to collect anywhere around 34 Cr to 35 Cr making it the third biggest opener of all time behind Atharintiki Daredi and Yevadu. The film would have over taken the previous best Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu by a decent margin at 34 Cr. Incidentally these big openers have come in holiday period barring Atharintiki Daredi which was a regular release.
Another achievement GAV is most likely to get going by the trade is crossing the 40 Cr worldwide. Once the film crosses that mark, it will emerge as the third biggest grosser of the year behind Race Gurram and Yevadu. Currently the third biggest grosser is Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Legend at around 40 Cr. So as and when GAV crosses Legend, All time top 3 openers and top 3 grossers of the year will be among the movies starring ‘Mega’ family heroes.
